Rice Husk Gasification Power Plant

Rice husk power generation technology is mainly a technology that combusts part of rice husk with moisture content less than 20% through thermodynamic reaction, and then generates electricity from gasified products such as CO, H2 and other combustible gases. This technology has been successfully implemented in Myanmar, Thailand and other countries.


Rice husk gasification is based on rice husk as a fuel. Before entering the biomass gasification furnace, the water content of the rice husk must be reduced to less than 20%, and the rice husk can be pyrolyzed and oxidized in the fluidized bed gasifier. The gas production is depended on the quantity of the raw material. The rice husk gasifier can also be connected to the generator set. The power of electricity generated is also determined by the feed quantity and the gas production.

Rice husk power generation system mainly includes rice husk gasifier system, gas purification system, gas generator unit and waste heat utilization device. The process of generating electricity by oxidizing rice husk into gas. This technology has been used in rice husk rich areas at home and abroad.
